Total agreement, Stirling barbershop is one of the best and unique with its vanilla note. It has always reminded me of the Clubman talc the barber uses on your neck post cut.

Guess you and some of the other commenters were lucky. I got one from Ali (so fortunately didn't pay much). The blade alignment was so poor I didn't even want to try it. Threw it straight in the trash.

For those who love tallow based shaving soap Tabac has stopped since 2yrs ago. Go use Stirling soap made from beef-tallow main ingredients and bathe soap they have it now

It could be the little brush is for cleaning the razor under the tap, after shaving, like we use old toothbrushes. Great video.

Hi Mark, again what a wonderful time for wet shavers ! Wait, my wife don't agree :-) too much razors, soaps, creams, shaving brushes, aftershave,preshave,balms. Not easy to resist to the temptation. I love Stirling soaps (and all their stuff, great company) and this one, the Barbershop, is one of my favorites. I love tech razors, i got the vintages ones ( a lot, lot, lot ,Mark repetition ©) the Replitech, The Baili tech, all are fantastic. Note that I converted my wife 2 years ago to wet shaving for shaving her legs and she loves it. His favorite razor, a Gillette Tech :-)

There's no excuse not to try traditional wet shaving when $7 razors like the QShave are available. If they try one, I'm betting most won't go back to cartridge razors.

Very nice shaving video Mark, this razor is quite similar to the Gillette Tech Razor, I have got one and use it quite often but love the Merkur 37c slant razor for daily shaving 👍👍👍

I bought this for travel. It's great while it lasted but the threads started to corrode after about a year, making it unusable. I recommend the weishi if you're looking for a beginner's or budget razor.

Hey Mark, I have that exact same razor also. To me it's the best razor I have out of all the high dollar razors I got. I use poraso, arko, and yes sometimes Barbasol and I still get a smooth and irratation free, close shave. Thanks for the great video.

It is very confusing their razors do not have model names. I have a razor called the Qshave Short Handle as well, but my razor has a butterfly head and there is no blade overhang. So, a completely different model, the same name.

Mark how does this razor compare to a real Tech? I have a real Tech & a Tech like clone the Maggard V3M head. While the V3M head resemble a Tech head. It doesn't shave ANYWHERE AS GOOD as my original Tech. The V3M head is more efficient at the expense of smoothness & comfort. I love using my original Tech. But dislike using the V3M head. Thanks.

BG, I haven't had a chance to use my Gillette Tech razors in a while. But, off the top of my head, this is very close to a 1950s Gillette Tech. Tthe mildness and efficiency are there, but I'd say the Gillette Tech is a bit smoother. Certainly the pre-WWII Techs are more aggressive. this QShave Tech is definitely not that. Let me express it another way, this Qshave will be one of the razors to go in my Dopp kit for travel. I'm assured a good, mild, efficient shave with a close to Gillette Tech experience.
