Wow, that's alot of stuff to carry around and you are using a 50 liter pack. I've watched a large selection of videos about walking the caminos and they all stress not over packing. The less weight and bulk the better. I will have to go through my list again, but the weight goal is 10 lbs, less if you can cut down on more stuff.

This was my third Camino and I always use everything I bring, so I’m okay. :) Definitely do whatever works best for you!

Thanks for the vid. I'm hiking the Ingles starting July 17. I plan to pack super light, but it'll still fill up my pack.

I have Cascade poles for hiking in the Pacific Northwest,.... love them!! I wish I could carry them on a plane for my camino.

Great that you’ve found your packing style. This worked amazingly for me and allowed me to provide items to other pilgrims in need. :)

Did the Cotopaxi jacket keep you warm?? I actually was thinking of getting it for the Camino next month lol. I get cold easily.

I love gear videos, and cool that you where at Galicia at same time as me :D Even tohugh i did a different camino. Hopefulyl we meet one day too, and take a beer or Cafe :)

Love Packing Videos !! Do you take any supplements or electrolytes while on the Camino? Leaving for the Camino in 65 days and can't decided YES or NO to Electrolytes

Just a probiotic! Which Camino? You should be able to find Aquarius (a Spanish Gatorade-like drink) in most towns. I love it!

So Katie, you’ve gone up to a fifty litre pack, interesting. I’m still not convinced about your argument for packing cubes. However, it maybe that I use a rounder shaped bag. Merino underwear? I would say that’s a new one on me but that might be a bit weird. Just a thought, if you keep your housewife(sewing kit) with your first aid kit, you’ll only need one pair of scissors. Tuff cuts would be better. (Crap moment), a hairbrush for each armpit and a comb for your hair? The tangling is caused by static electricity. Companies like Paul Mitchell, used to produce anti tangle shampoo. It does work. The dog horn is a nice touch, anything to disrupt an animals behaviour. A dog dazer would also work by disrupting behaviours, however, is no good on lusty men. I’m surprised that you had to check your poles, I put mine in my pack. Thanks for the vid, it just goes to highlight how hopelessly disorganised I am. My best to Cashew…..

The good news though is that, you now have a pee rag. I was living with the nightmares, of having to teach how to write your name, in the sand, with a “ she wee”.
