I’ve been carrying my Black Micarta Vault at work for a couple of weeks now. It really is a great knife. Great fit and finish and deploy’s and retracts nicely. The black coating is already rubbing off of the edges of the bolster from going in and out of pocket so if that’s important to you maybe go with the silver bolster.

Amazing knife, feels completely premium in the hand, tolerances are fantastic, bearings are great, and the blade is razor sharp. People dog on this without holding it or opening it. It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, but golly is it a fantastic piece of kit. Love mine, want to buy another in green just to have two.

Man, handsome, rugged, and capable, I really dig it. I think you'll have enough cut test supplies to last till next year, but may get a better deal for the noodles in the winter time, haha.

I didn't use that knife very much before I sent it to you, but one thing I did notice right off was the appearance of a finger choil setup reminiscent of the Spyderco Shaman design. That is to say it has a finger choil for the index finger and a similar shaped area on the handle for the middle finger - which would have been great if they had done it right... But, as is the case with so many Chinese knives, the finger choil is much too small. It definitely would have been much better if they had just extended the edge all the way to the ricasso.

It would be absolutely perfect if it had no choil! Still, amazing knife.

The crossbar lock could make up for it, but I prefer flippers. But, they sure look good!
