Yes, you will see the old dirty grease push out, when you start seeing clean come out you know you got it.

a small flash light will be handy also, just to see in there a little better.

You should be using red grease. Also check the pressure that a hand held grease gun exerts......15,000lbs most seals are rated at 500 lbs. Check ETrailer and see how they suggest servicing EZ Lube axles. Better yet this is a good vid from a trusted source: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHzHmYKpoKljbMU

Hi Richard, I don't know why I never saw this post sorry for the slow response yeah i just went by the manufacture instructions kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKuui2qen6qrqs0 That guy that sells the geo as the "best keeps getting better" is the main reason i bought the POS so I don't really count him as a credible source anymore. Regarding pressure, yes that's very good to know, so using a low pressure gun would be a good choice, something I was not aware of. Thanks for pointing that out. the grease I bought was rated for what I used it, in-fact it had a higher temp rating then some of the others that are red, thats why I went with it over a lesser. but at the same time thats why i state in the video they need to do there own research regarding what their manufacture suggests for grease as I did not want to make any recommendations on that for sure.

@@Thejohnnyoshow Needless to say you would not buy a Geo Pro again? LoL. I have shifted my first choice to the Winnebago Micro Minnie which seems to be built with prime materials instead of "glossed over plywood" PLUS they're still a lightweight tandem axle which means it won't get bounced to death on the highway unlike a single axle trailer. Thanks for the response!

@@richardkoch8752 No, I really don't think i would buy another rockwood lol, I think for the most part mine has stopped breaking but there are little things that do have me concerned about its structural integrity. but if it falls apart going down the highway i guess i will just make an insurance claim haha. I do still feel my next will be a winnebago. Unless there is something better out there around 3700lbs with a tandom but the last i looked there was not

I believe your method is for emergency application. Not for general maintenance. This video says you shouldn’t do what you did for normal maintenance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3i7hp-ulLyCacU
