I think you missed a big one.. how about the old airport? I guess it technically still exists but that was like the first and last entry point to Doha you'd pass through.. although the new airport is better in every way... still have nostalgia for the old airport. And I remember getting a root beer float at the A&W restaurant there. Even before moving to Qatar, we'd sometimes transit through DIA and would always stop at A&W regardless...

Pizza hut backyard and old Tazaj Garden. Still go there and sit outside for a few minutes, miss my old school and college days and memories 🥰

Ahaaa man it was love 😍😍 making sand mountains, taking rides, playing with those watermelon coloured helium balls, the canteen not to mention the slope. It was all amazing 😍

i remember all of these oh my god. every time id start to think "oh i dont know this one" id suddenly be baffled by memories hitting me of my dad and i going fishing in that village when i was 4 or riding the ferris wheel on a school trip when i was 8. i have my own kid now and am planning on moving back to qatar, pls pray it works out❤

Never really liked those old wooden roller coasters, but the ones with the steel frame work and all the loops I had no problems with like at Six Flags in Illinois

I agree. Closing Palm tree island was such a shame. Everyone enjoyed it, there was a huge jungle park, small hut Cafe restaurants next to it with shade made from dried palm leaves, an area where you can pet sheep and goats, the path ways were beautiful. It was just 5 or 10 riyal on a dhow from the Cornish

I am an omani and i have kind of an emotional story....We had a plan called "Blue City"which you may know. It was 70% complete but then due to financial issues it had to be closed ☹️
