I had a good friend who was incarcerated, and his dish was hot oatmeal with peanut butter mixed in, milk poured on top with pieces of honey bun and then honey drizzled on top. Take a nap for a day after eating that bowl of goodness. lol

These are good hotel hacks. With the egg, you can also whip one or two with a fork in a coffee mug( if you have one lol) and microwave them into scrambled eggs. They taste pretty good too lol

It's all about using foods in a different way to make the prisoners feel like they are getting something different because fr they be getting the same stuff a lot. They are so creative with some of the things they come up with.

Not so much a prison hack, but in a pinch I've made Mac and cheese ramen noodles using 1 velveeta cheese packet, or with some ranch or whatever sauce you like, after I cook the ramen in one of those ramen microwavable bowls and drain it.... When you've got very little time and you don't like the ramen seasoning (my personal preference others may like it so you do what you like), you improvise... Not much cost because most people either has some sauce and cheese in the fridge, and majority usually has at least one ramen noodle in their pantry plus spices.... So, it works, tastes good to me, you can flavor how you want, and unless someone is actively wondering on what noodles you cook, whose gonna know...
