Trinity, let me tell you. Here in Jamaica specifically powdered milk( lasco) vanilla flavor especially is used. Because it's more cost effective. So we mix it in the bowl using water and the lasco then we just throw in the cereal. So I guess that's y it's done that way. 😄😄

I don’t think milk before cereal is weird. I’m from Nigeria and powdered milk is what we consume more here. I like to always ensure the consistency of my milk is right before I pour cereal into it. My whole life, I’ve always poured my milk in before my cereal. It’s because by putting in the milk first, you can measure how much milk you want to consume in one sitting, before you eat the cereal. I thought it was normal until I came on social media and people were slandering it. I’m gonna still do it like that😂

@@thekindredhour not really because when the cereal is already in the bowl and you pour the milk, the amount of milk you see isn’t really how much you put in there because the cereal will make the milk look like it’s more than what you actually put in there. By putting in the milk beforehand, you know exactly how much milk you’ve put in already. And I’m sure a lot of people, when they finish the cereal they’ve put in the bowl at first, they go for more.

This is similar to a Bahamian dish. But we don’t mix the tuna rice and Mayo together. We just eat tuna salad and white rice. It’s so good!

Being in a 2 story home & loving to sometimes eat in bed, I put milk in the bowl first. Then I carry the box of cereal upstairs (or already have a box in my bedroom) so that within that process, my cereal isn’t getting soggy. NOAH'S Bagel offers that kind of bagel with their sandwiches upon customer's request. It helps it make for a more sturdy sandwich; which makes it easier to eat. IDK, people possibly started doing this for less carbs but I've only known people to do this when they order a sandwich from NOAH'S.

I work in a restaurant in a 5 start hotel we have at least twice a week of a customer ordering a bagel with inside scooped out. It works better when you toast it just be careful not to burn your self. Then toast it again when done scooping.
