Why has this program avoided discussing the effect of American trade war and sanctions against China and American led De -Globalization on the supply chain and inflation. Listening to this program, one would have gotten the impression that the DW folks are living in a different world than we do.

I think dealing the bubble in real estate in China is a good thing. Previous growth has depended too heavily on investment, especially in real estate. That is not sustainable. It needs to be dealt with.
China is carrying out policies which will benefit nation and people, but the rest of the world wanted China to carry out policies which will help or support global situation, G7 lead by USA,in the last few decades actually trying to contend the rest of the world to serve them both as political influencers and economic leaders, especially in technical superiority ,financial controls like swift, but as the global geopolitical, economic, supplies status and orders are changing, they are unable to position or adapt themselves, especially countries like Japan,Germany,Canada and uk will feel the threat as they are standing at the edge of the cliff, China,India,Russia and even ASEAN will fall back into the self defence mode, they will seek self support and interest well before the world realised the real problem. Looking back the last 10 years, you will realise this is actually what is happening, USA domestic, financial, geopolitical issues are actually declining since after Reagan, the situation in Ukraine actually started during Reagan’s terms
