I am in Australia. USA is better than Australia in most categories WITH EXCEPTIONS IN PROPERTY TAX & MEDICAL INSURANCE. Australia enjoyed ONE-OFF TAX ( stamp duty) on property buying RATHER THAN ANNUAL PROPERTY TAX.
