I love how you two are honoring and elevating the history and character of the school. Too many people on the internet are buying old buildings and borderline erasing the history of them and turning them into something of a shadow of their former selves. Thank you for your videos.

@wizz2004 they can't live there full time YET, but most everything is up to Code. Belongings can be moved in while a few Code things are tweaked to make the Code Officer happy. Pretty much standard procedure. The Code Officer has to find a few things "wrong" and give the owners so many days to make the changes or finish installation. Then the Code Officer will come back to check those off the list and give them Permanent Occupancy.

Patina is such a great color, and what a statement to make in the main entrance of your home to start with this bold color ! I'm also a fan of how your stairs to the basement look, not only was the tile a great idea but I love the light color against the wood. Somehow I expected you to use Pressed Peony in the living room too, it feels like it would match the energy of Eraser Dust. I've said this before, but it's so great to see a renovation project that isn't just made of white, grey and beige for a change. It was great to hear your thought process for the colors, too. If any French people are reading this, I decided to look up whether there is anyone recycling paint here in France, and found a company called Circouleur :)

FANTASTIC move with the idea of using the pieces of plaster as art, then coordinating your paints with them! I have a collage of wallpapers from my family home of five generations (and where we now live....though its future is uncertain) which my daddy made. As we made a couple of changes, I added a few scraps to it! Also made a glass-filled lamp from plaster wall and old wiring parts from when we had the knob and tube replaced in half the house....still have the upstairs to go! In addition to gifting some of your handmade pottery, maybe you could sell some of your lovely pottery to help with the school project! Of course, let us all know if you do and on what platform! ps. the name "Patina" is PERFECT for that green, but I really like ALL of the greens. That Knobstone brick color is outstanding with the brick!
