Just opened my QC yesterday and wow, it’s everything it’s been hyped up to be (at least by the time I jumped in) tons of customization jammed in a pretty slick interface. Quickly realized this is way more involved than the Headrush units that I’ve been using for the 5 ish years. I can definitely say even though they are kinda similar units there’s a steep learning curve for the QC and your vids have helped quite a bit!

@@SteveSterlacci - band 8 of the is auto set to be your hi cut - you just need to activate the band (+/-). That leaves you the 6 bands in the middle for surgical stuff/shelves. Alternatively - the hi/lo cut EQ allows you to also control db/octave. Scenes would allow you to modify the Mind Hall reverb parameters and re-use that block over a second reverb - but I suspect you know that. Just suggesting options/alternatives if they help.
@SteveSterlacci3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I wanted to showcase 2 diff reverbs for different applications but you're absolutely right. Definitely worth noting that the 8th band is hi cut. I just went by what was default on the screen

Hey man! Love your videos. Super informative!! Question! What if want to put down my guitar for a minute and use QC as an audio interface and just listen to music from my Macbook via Spotify, Apple Music or on youtube? Can I do that? Is it just a matter of keeping it connected to my mac via USB, having monitors connected to the two XLR outputs and having the QC turned on?

@SteveSterlacci Жыл бұрын
I think if you search up on parametric EQ on YT there are a lot of people much better at explaining this than I can. Best thing to do is experiment and "try" different eqs to hear what they do. Set up a loop and just mess around!

Is it just me or is there no way to bypass a block in stomp mode if you don't have it assigned to a switch? It's a pain to have to go to preset or scene mode just to turn something on or off if you have more than 8 effects.
