Great job I really wonder why quad lock does not offer a solution. My 1098 does not have center hole. So maybe machining it out would work?

No need for the long bar and nut. A small screw driver is sufficient in pushing the adapter home.

Hmmm I used a small .30c butterfly bolt and the original bolt it came with. Just sub the butterfly screw for the mounting plug that is supplied.

i have a rokform stem mount. same mechanism as the quadlock. i inserted a 1/5in pvc coupling from underneath and added the forkstem mount. the pvc is less flush that your piece but holds tight when the nut expands. YOUR product is great though. i like how flush it is with the actual stem. are you still selling your piece?

I’d use a string tied to a washer to pull the sleeve into place.
