Sup Ken! Yes, I converted, though not entirely. I don't pinch so much as I thumb with my index fingers supporting the stick at the front. It does help though, and it's better than thumbs only for sure (for me). How's FPV going for you?

A wing could win in a straight track, but a quad has increased maneuverability in tight corners and has the ability to slow to a hover. So it really depends on the situation.

Since it uses an analog video signal for control, it's nearly instantaneous. No perceivable lag at all. Thanks!

True, but you have to remember that I was full-throttling this most of the time to keep up with the wing. It was also very windy. Under normal conditions, this quad performs better.

Ed Ricker in that case either increase TPA or softmount FC better... High throttle is no "excuse" to have quad shaking like crazy :)
