Filmed on April 13, 2024, near Prince Albert, SK, Canada. Join Taco, Timmer, Tony, Uncle Dave & I as we tour the 302 Block of the Nisbet Forest Reserve; take a tour down to LaColle Falls; then head to the Forks for lunch & a crapper review. After lunch it's back to trail hunting in the 302 with a visit to the Spring Water & a rip down to the South Sask River for a quick viewing.

First lol, Some good early riding Q. I have only been out one time so far and its killing me lol. Those giant ice chucks were really something lol, But it does scare me with how dry it is for April. Hopefully the fire bans are somewhat limited. PS. when are we going for a rip lol Cheers, ride safe.

I think the bans have been lifted now. I was up at Ft.Corne camping with Tony last week and it started raining the night before I left. Road was pretty soft going out. Tony stayed an extra day hoping the rain would stop and things would dry up, but it didn't. He was lucky to get out - lol Thanks for the comments and for watching X! (Hell yeah! A ride is in order! Did you get a new set of those interco’s? I’m thinking of getting myself a set, but I’ve heard people are having issues with punctures and tears in the sidewalls. But I see a lot of people ride with them anyway. I’m putting them on an Outlander 1000r Max of the 2020 variety. The stock Terra-Cross tires are about halfway worn. Don’t know if I should replace yet, as they’re at 27/64ths.

Yes, I did get a new set. I've never had a puncture or a tear on any of my swamp lites. Can't speak for any other Interco, but never on the swamp lites and I ride in a lot of different terrain. Tim & I just got back from the mountains (again) where there are a lot of jagged rocks on the trails. They performed excellent. Thanx for the comments and for watchin' Will!

Hi Mike. Yeah, there are several pockets of forest close to LaColle Falls (Forte a la Corne, 302, MacDowell, Holbein, PA) all of which are part of the Nisbet Forest Reserve (or Island Forest Reserve) with tons of trails. There's an awesome campground just west of PA, across HWY #3 from Kachur's Golf Course, which is for RV's only. It has water and sewer. There are no other services and it is ran by Kachur's. You can literally ride for weeks on all the surrounding trails. Don't be shy, come and try - lol. Thanks for the comments and for watching bud!

Spring breakup on the rivers is always impressive. I've seen the Yukon at breakup. Bergs the size of houses flying through the air. Made it up to Sheridan Glacier a week ago. Don't know if you saw the vid. Jim got his CanAm back and had it out for a ride. So far so good.

I have a 2017 Polaris Sportsman. My battery was located in the same spot. I went to the website quadlogic and ordered a battery relocation kit. It relocates the battery under the back fender. Works great and I haven't had any problems.

River went out on the 11th here right at the forks so you guys were close. It wasn’t all that impressive this year as there was no flow to push it out. Was backed up a little bit below the forks but nothing to crazy. I live close to the forks on the south side of the main sk river so I always keep a close eye on it in the spring. Been considering riding across from here in the ferry and tiring around in the bush on 302. Never taken the time though. Drive through there on the way to pa but haven’t been off the highway aside from driving down to la Colle calls a few times.

I’m actually surprised we haven’t run into each other over the years as we tend to ride a lot of the same areas. There’s some nice views of the river on our side but not a pile of trails. I’d say it’s better then nesbit on 302 but can’t exactly say for sure as I haven’t been through the bush itself over there yet. Not a whole lot of loops you can make.

@@quaddingsous camp fees are pretty high these days ya know😂 lol. In all seriousnous there’s better places in the bush. There’s an old picnic site just north of us in the bush. It’s pretty easy to cover all the trails in an afternoon though. As long as I’m not spraying or combining I could probably get away for a little bit. We’re about 6 miles from the bush itself and own land almost touching the forest.
