I bought these a few years ago and they’re a game changer, big outlay as I bought 4 but the regular watering produced fantastic tomatoes without the constant feeding and watering. Will buy more for my cucumbers now they’re back 🎉

They are brilliant and I have used them for a few years now but I wanted some more but couldn't get hold of them as you know so I made my own version... there's a short on my channel.....they worked out cheaper to make and so easy to do!! Plus you can reuse the capillary matting ..I am still using my original ones!!

That is brilliant news. I was looking for QuadGrows last year as they seemed to be the easiest of the self watering pot systems to set up. But was sad to see they weren't being made anymore . So I have invested in the Easy2Grow pots for Autopot instead. Good quality pots and about the same size. I have a six pot system but they seem to be a bit fiddly to set up with valves and pipes etc. The separate tank in nice and big so would last a week apparently yet to see if that is the case. Definitely putting the QuadGrows on m next birthday list for next year for chillis or cucumber or more tomatoes!

can you put grass cuttings on top of soil in pots?

If its dried out yes I should think so! Wet grass tends to be a perfect home for slugs and snails

Hi JB can you just use two and do you get the stopper connector for the tank where the tube connects too the other tank if only wanting to use one Thks John.

As yet there's nothing official. I know grown local is trying to get something sorted. In my opinion it should definitely come with a bung so you don't have to have all four pots in a row.

Hahaha yeah it's a lot of money for sure. That's why I mentioned they're a good gift 😁 Good bit of kit though, will last decades I think and the fertiliser itself is worth a good portion of the cost

I've had my two at least six years Andy and it will see me out and no blossom end rot or diseases ,although got two for £60 back then .😊

I’ve got my tomatoes growing in quadgro system and they look very healthy. My question is, is it ok that the roots have grown down into the tank and so are permanently sitting in water?

Did you make a custom bung? As far as I'm aware there's no official manufacturing of them, so by design you're meant to join them.
