Good info but to get a correct moisture reading you should take the reading from inside of a freshly split piece of wood. The inside can be over double what the outside reading is especially Oak.

Hi, I have a pioneer 3. Not sure why, but my automatic damper always stays completely open. Tried lowering the thermostat. Also, should the fan be manually turned up all the way or off?

Hey, you have a repeat in the video when you add the two large logs on top, then you show again the same two logs being added again. You put way too much paper in the stove initially and not enough wood to begin. It's a wood burning stove, not a way to get rid of old newspapers. You could have added those llast two logs at the very beginning, rather than disrupt the burn to add those two logs on a hot fire. Hate to sound like a broken record, but just load the damn box.

You (Quadra Burn) have great stoves/fireplaces. I personally have your pioneer II and love it. Your videos are dual and boring. Mono-tone narrators and lousy background music. Your marketing team needs to be replaced from the 1980's crew you've employed since. I as a user of QB, woupd like to see what NOT to do. This stove pumps out ALOT of heat, but how hot is too hot for the steel you use to build your fireboxs? All steel "cracks and tings" as it gets hot or cools off. With such an expensive unit, please show a video of a fire in which the steel "buckles" and time lapse of what that fire would look like.

You should have a video on how to clean the stove -ie. removing and replacing the baffle board, protection channel, and tubes. This is an extremely painful process and the stove does not come with directions. Customers shouldn't have to scour the internet and youtube and dozens of minutes of video to find this information. Your maintenance video doesn't have this information either.
