I will try to make a entire list of all the trick/glitch used for that run : 0:30 As you can see he collect the MP5 then the shotgun because the soldiers who had their respective weapon died so this explains having already the weapons at the start of Welcome To Black Mesa (0:58) 1:18 He shot Otis, so it can save time and he opens it faster. 1:31-1:33 Object Boost to skip the whole puzzle (the stairs also have a death trigger so you cant jump over it) 1:39 One of the major time save is the bridge skip, to start off on the map (1:39) , there should be a trigger hurt that would insta kill you if you land on it (1:42), but for the first seconds after the changelevel trigger (1:42), the hitbox is disabled before being reactivated again, so if you are enough fast and with a jumpbug/edge jump (1:43) you can skip the entire crash plane section without dying. 1:48 Edge Jump/Jumpbug 1:49 Object Boost 1:50 - 2:49 Can't be skipped 2:52 Object Boost to get into the button and then does a other one to get the nextmap 3:00 There is a corner there allowing you to cancel your fall speed and with a edge jump get onto the platform 3:04 - 3:41 Destroyed the boxes so there again some unskippable cutscene 3:49 - 3:53 Used bunnyhop and reduced FPS to avoid the waste to hurt him more. 4:08 You can reduce your FPS to get out of the train 4:10 - 5:50 Enjoy, once again can't be skipped 5:52 The changelevel trigger hitbox is everywhere up to that point. So going there save time. 6:04 Kills Otis to get the Deagle 6:17 Throw a grenade to remove the dead scientist and use the chair to boost the speed 6:28 If you are enough fast to get the soldier before the door closes you can stop him in his run, the trigger is at 6:26 6:34 The barrel does nothing special instead probably making the soldiers stuck in this pose when he is killed. 6:35 Kills the Soldiers to get the M249 A.K.A the most important weapon in the game. This weapon allow you to gain speed due to recoil, and most of the run he shoots with the M249 to gain speed. Also if you put the speed at 0.25x you can see the camera turns backward for a split of seconds. Finally there is many weapons spawning because of the quick save and quick reload bug, if you kill any ally and during his death animation, it resets his animations and make a new weapons spawns. 6:51 Throw a grenade to prevent alien slave spawning. 6:56 Object Boost to keep his speed for the next maps. 6:58 - 7:32 Shooting with the M249 to gain speed 7:33 Grenade damage boosting. 7:39 This part you can jump over teh trash can because there is a really small gain of height because of this brush. 7:41 You can strafe that. 7:59 Throw a grenade so the soldiers runs into the door, skipping a 10s dialogue. 8:08 - 8:35 Collecting stuff because you can't skip again. 8:36 Press the button to close the door and tehn repress the door to open it back, unlike Half-Life 1, the next level trigger isn't outside the elevator, so you must be inside the elevator, opening the door makes it already opens for the next chapter. 8:37 End of "Missing In Action" 8:39 You can run into him. 8:48 Grenade 8:56 This trick is weird, if you shoot a mp5 grenade into the soldier (He is immortal, you cant kill him) and then you look at this angle he would stand up back without bringing the medic to him. Then you have to talk to him and jump over the trigger and talk to him, you must duck for this one, after its done correctly he can follow you. 9:17 - 9:44 Getting stuff, once agin you cant skip the section. 9:46 He shoot the last remaining M249 ammo so he can skip the reload section. 9:50 Killing the soldier so you can refill your M249. 9:52 Grenade Boost. 10:00 You can press the button from the other side. 10:19 The only trick of this chapter : if you do a quick save and a quick reload you can remove the dark screen. 10:44 Pressing use key to prevent the scientist to start his script. 11:17 Once again you must trigger the fastest way possible, also cant be skipped. 12:22 Funny 12:25 If you do the quick save and quick reload glitch, the discplacer endpoint will be moved, so you can gain quite a lot of time. 12:41 Same as 12:25. 12:47 Using a tripmine make the elevator go back up. 12:58 - 13:07 and 13:11 Those moments of freeze represents the game being put at 4 fps, doing this may allow the player to go through the door without hitting the doors. 13:37 Displacer glitch, the same as 12:25 and 12:41. 13:45 Displacer glitch again. 13:58 Heal with medic. 14:17 Killing the soldiers to refill sniper and M249 for the last time. 14:44 Grenade boost to skip most of the section. 15:22 Simple Displacer teleportation (no glitch) to skip the boxes track. 15:29 Throw a grenade to make the massn cover themself. 15:53 If you put your game at 4 fps, the game will heal you faster. 17:25 The Run Is Over !!! at 3:00 there's an invisible wall that makes a sharp angle with the actual wall on the left; you can wedge yourself in there to zero out vertical speed, then air strafe onto the catwalk

Shouldn't the run timer be 16:59, since things you did before Welcome To Black Mesa significantly influenced the run? It makes sense why you start HL and it's timer on Anomalous Materials, since that tram ride is literally inconsequential and basically a cutscene, but before you wake up in Welcome To Black Mesa you also collected the shotgun and SMG which were highly integral to a number of time saves, so the run timer should start the very moment the runner can meaningfully influence the run (in this case at 0:29 when you first wake up by the crash, grab the shotgun and smg, before blacking out again), no? Unless the timer starting at WTBM is just the thing OpFor runs do and counts as free time and I'm just out of the loop. Either way that was a hell of a run and it's amazing coming back and seeing you guys still at it after all this time.

You did mention that this does use mods, but you forgot it has 1HP mod on. 15:20 segment shows this and probably they don't need to have 1hp. He also probably would die from that one jump. Small little mods and cheats like this start to add up and I question whether it's able to be placed into a legitimate category. I'm sure with a small amount of mods and things they can even remove a few seconds from this and seems irrelevant, even if some of the movement jumps were pretty good.

That's not a mod, they just got the right ammount of hp and armor to get the nade boost that brings them to 1hp, it was probably made as a reference to hl21 which also ends on 1hp
