Produced by Lucien Foort and Olivier Abbeloos. First released in 1990 by Belgian label ARS records and re-released in 1991 by RCA records.
First there was house, then there was 'hard house' (techno). A year after it's original release this Dutch/Belgian track went to number 14 in the UK Top 40 in april 1991 and marked the international breakthrough of the new hard house sound.
After the UK 'Quadrophonia' also hit the charts in Belgium, Germany, Holland and lots of other countries. Soon followed by big international club- and chart-succes for acts like T-99, Human Resource and L.A. Style (also Dutch projects).
This is not the official vid, but a remake to fit the remix featuring large parts of the original video.

Legendary CLASSIC, I`ve watched it the first Time 1990 on German TV station "TELE 5". To explain it, this was the FIRST Edition of "Tele 5", I call it "Das gute alte ERSTE Tele 5". I knew Honorato Ony Rodriguez from The Beat Club. I went to underground rave parties in Florida from 1988-1994. They mixed on vinyl records Electro, *Miami bass* and Breakbeat. The rave scene was so hype in Miami and Orlando FL back in the very very early 1990's Goldie, Sasha & Digweed (and other famous DJ's) moved here for a while. I guarantee you USA had just as good or better rave parties than the UK did. In 1993 I use always go to a place called MAD HOUSE in Daytona Beach to watch and listen to The Hard Science Cru play hardcore, Jungle and D&B. You don't know what you're talking about.

I was a tweenager, metalhead (still am) and when the metal club closed (2:00am) a few of us always went to Parkzicht which was opened until 9:00am. Parkzicht was a unique club, I had never seen anything like it, with no dressing regulations at all. Omg! I remember the immense whistles as I got on stage. Funny side note: we were supposed to play hrs earlier, but got lost trying to find the place. So once we did, we were rushed to the stage. Early morning. Mud everywhere in that huge circus tent. My mic didn’t work so no one knew what was going on on that huge stage until the big sound in the break started. The hole place started to blow on their whistles At once. I remember having to cover my ears that was how loud it was. I remember seeing that Farris Wheel from a distance and saying ‘look, I guess we need to go that way. Fist time we did a big Outdoor festival like that. Thanks 🙏🏾
