This might be the most useful sharpening station I've seen. One still needs to be a wire wheel, and then you only have to change when they wear out.

This is genius... I have never even considered putting grinders above each other but this would save a lot of space in my little shop!

Very inventive design solution. Thanks for sharing this. I am so particular that I would be concerned about dust or particulates from one machine affecting the other, so I would devise dust shields.

Going vertical is such a great idea! Well done!

Some very nice welds there. Also, great idea stacking the grinders like that!

I would love to make one of these for an OPE sharpening station, with a bench/belt combo grinder on bottom and a chainsaw chain grinder on top

I have 4 grinders only use three and have no permanent place for them. I also really like the diamond/knife polishing disk with the table excellent and compact will do ASAP!! The diamond disk caught my eye because I'm building a gem shaper out of a small stationary drill press. Very impressive work yoiu do!

This is a great idea! I have a 7" Baldor grinder with two grits of wheels and next to it a 5 or 6 inch grinder with a wire wheel and grinding wheel only used for tungsten. The smaller one might work just fine if it was a little higher. The bigger grinding jobs will be done on the 2x72 grinder that I'm just starting to build with a kit from Work/House on youtube. Great video!

Great idea but won’t you grinding dust in your buffing wheel?

I like the vertical setup. I have seen guys in Germany do this too (with their older metabo grinders).

What a cool idea 👍 why have I never thought of this before. Fantastic job.

I've been thinking of doing this with standard metal grinding wheels down the bottom and polishing wheels up top with extention shafts to have 4 polishing wheels, simply because if I have to swap a buffing wheel there's a 99% chance I'll loose it xD

Phil, this is super dope. Great job with all the custom wheels. Great ingenuity and thriftiness.

On Stands, Tables, etc, if you angle the legs out 5 degrees in both directions, it makes for a VERY stable support........z

Nice! Perhaps it could even be put on wheels to avoid the lifts.

Looks good, but don't the one wheels make the others dusty all the time? 👍🏻

Slick ,enjoyed the video. may have to make one, .Right mow I have bench space for 4 grinders but I like the stand idea. Thanks

Not to knock this effort, but this feels like a bad idea from the perspective of safety, and perhaps contaminating wheels.
