Hey pal, avid ice bather/D1 athlete/ recovery enjoyer here and u should really try to get your shoulders submerged in the plunge. When you get the shoulders and bottom vertebrae of the neck submerged it induces a cold shock protein response which is what gives you most, if not all, of the benefits physically from a cold plunge. Good on you for winning that mental battle though.

I turned quads over a full house at Hard Rock recently, was first to act, and checked the river but didn't get the older gentleman's entire stack b/c he checked back since I nonchalantly called every street as he kept increasing the bet sizes. In Rampage's case, there's nothing he could have done differently. How's he going to put him on pocket 7s as opposed to, say, QJ or a flush draw?

Variance is real, and even the best players in the world go through horrible cold steaks. That's why bankroll management is so crucial. The unfortunate reality is that playing at the proper stakes for a given bankroll is kind of boring. If you're chasing an adrenaline high, you're probably playing at too high of stakes for your bankroll.

The AJs is definitely an optional raise on the turn. Pretty weird you haven't consider it and said oh dam I have to check when you hit. This is a combo draw to 2p, trips and the nut flush, and the thing with this raise, is that you can get called by worse and get folds by better. One of the more classic "raises" - definitely not saying that you should've done it, but just saying that it is too weak for value too strong for bluff is not understanding the basic properties of the hand

hahahaha so crazy.. I'm really going to stop watch this guy.. Next level punting and then getting lucky like that is a joke. I don't mind the bet on the flop but the 2K bet on the turn???? Getting called on the flop after a 4-bet preflop literally means the guy has AT LEAST A 10 as there are no draws and probably would fold a hand like K 10 preflop.. What a joke this hand is

I couldn’t help myself
@RobRochonАй бұрын
@@RampagePoker dude, that's your problem. You can't...or rather won't...help yourself. I came to the comments to say the same thing as Kurtis above just said. You are making bad decisions all around and aren't taking steps to protect yourself. Not sure if you're unable to critique your own game or you're just too lazy to put in the work. You moved to smaller stakes because you've been getting hammered which was a good move but decided to "take a shot" even though you hadn't earned it yet and walked into that game with the negative mindset of losing. Not only that but you went into a 4 handed game which will play different than a full ring and certainly have more variance. You said you were feeling more positive after that 10/20 session but did you actually analyze your game? Because you showed 5 hands and the first 4 hands you sucked out on the river while firing at the pots on most streets most of the time. In the QJ clubs hand your opponent was waiting on you to keep betting out with his JJ which you said you were going to shove on the river if you missed, but instead you hit your 3 outer. If you weren't a lucksack you probably would have been down huge this session. All you're doing here is gambling. You're not playing poker. You really ought to self-evaluate and determine if this is for you or maybe take some training courses before you get yourself in way too deep.
