With my big hands Sounds like I should just cut my losses and pull the manifold, do ftb new injector lines and everything that’s there while I’m at it😂

Thanks for the Video. I'm new to 6.5 . So I'm thinking what you have done is create better consistant Pump feed pressure? Because the stock fuel return pipes you removed I think go back to the fuel tank only ? Also What creates the Lift pump pressure regulator ? I have 2 stock 6.5's I got those trucks for a great price . Also does a GM5 Turbo only put out 5LBs of Boost ?

Stock turbo can be turned up to about 12-13 psi if memory serves, obviously tuning and a way to regulate the boost pressure are required, manual WG actuator is the best control method imo, as it allows you to delete the problematic vacuum pump that exists solely to run the WG actuator....

so...planning on replacing return line with AN fittings and braided hose. ...is the return block threaded for standard NPT fittings? ie...is barbed hose fitting for the return screw into block with NPT threads? The idea would be to replace the barbed fitting with AN to NPT fitting...

So if you don’t mind me asking. What is the purpose of this kit? Was there some restrictions found in the factory system?

no restrictions but the factory steel lines like to occasionally rot out causing fuel leaks and from the factory all the injectors daisy chain up to the front of the engine then get sent to the back to the return line to tank. this product allows you to daisy chain all then injectors from front to back and connect to return line

nice video...but not sure the purpose or why this is an “upgrade”...? I think you’d want to clear the main return line to the tank (which gets clogged) ..and replace the IP pressure housing valve that hooks to the return line first...Stanadyne IP valve starts returning fuel at anything over 5psi to a max of 14psi. Id be concerned that manifolding returns like this would pose problems at the if the IP pressure is run anywhere north of ...say..10 psi...

I need to know exactly what your talking about. Any chance in sending a picture somehow of What or where the Stanadyne IP valve is ? I assume its in the pump? My 98 6.5 lift pump pressure tested at 5 Lbs in today. This truck starts great. My 94 is a different story but it's getting there.

Hi Daniel, where did you get that 90 degree hose for your oil catch can? I'm still using the factory bellows but that looks a lot nicer

I am in process of doing this now...anyway...rewatched and noticed that the main wiring harness connector (the c100 15 position plug) on the firewall looks like it might also be a quadstar unit. I really would like to replace the harness--quadstar says on webpage that they install it "above the manifold"---not sure how this would work exactly...any tips? is the wiring harness oem (stock) or is it quadstar? did you do the install?

Yes my harness is Quadstar and instead of running the harness under the intake manifold you run it on top. All the plugs will reach

If you own a 6.5 BETTER sub to this channel! Amazing after all these years John at Quadstar is still coming out with me products to improve the 6.5. This would have been great when I installed @leroydiesel air dog kit! 🇺🇸🤙🏻🔧🦅 Great vid! Amazing kit! Wish it had a mount so it can be mounted to the firewall and be seen. Beautiful piece to be showcased!

@@DCMotorsports tons of good new good products out between John and Leroy. If I wasn’t planning on swapping a 12v this would be on the list! Was going to order John’s catch can today. I can adapt it to work with a Cummins but it’s sold out 🤬
