For who didn't know him: Quagliarella played in a lot of Italian teams, but his LOVE was Napoli (and Naples). He HAD TO change team because he has been stalked (the fact emerged in the last years in Italian TV) , but he was a FANTASTIC player and professional, he often didn't celebrate his goals because he scored often against his former clubs. As a Juventus fan i was IN LOVE for him because he was a fighter with the fantasy and the bravery of an artist, a complete striker. Thanks a lot Fabio!

Best Italian forwards/number 10's after the legacy of Totti and Del Piero (year wise). You could fit Toni as a 9 (or Immobile that never played well for Italy), but never at the same technical level as these two. The only one that could match is Chiesa that is showing an incredible potential.

@AK-74K10 ай бұрын
@@salgallo1453I don't agree. The technique is just different. With constant pressing, there is less time and space to line up for these shots from distance. But the players today are much better at quick pass and move than any previous era. The tactics dictate it. Players have to have a good first touch and good ability to pass the ball quick.

@Yon_Jon571510 ай бұрын
@@Irfan87 @Irfan87 wow, you went the other way! I personally disagree with that. Ibrahimovic has 1) the best goal of all time, 2) THAT absurd half-volley rocket vs Anderlecht, hit as cleanly and powerfully as any shot in the existence of football, 3) a Roundhouse Studs Kick vs Toronto, 4) those sideways-drifting shots to the side net vs Lyon & vs Cesena, 5) a lob back-heel vs Italy, 6) the solo vs Breda, 7) a missile from the tightest angle vs Magyarország. Even on more "pedestrian" goals, his flair & sheer power elevate them (eg. the outswinging bullet vs CSKA or the thunderbolt vs Auxerre, both in UCL). Beauty is subjective; the fact than Zlatan has scored every one of the goals Fabio has, isn't. The only one he hasn't replicated is the one vs Napoli (@3:38), "ball coming in from behind, somehow hit it on the volley, towards the net". By my count, Ibrahimovic is only missing a scorpion kick to have scored in every (semi-)default way possible. (PS. Out of the goals I mentioned, how many had you already seen before my comment, even after checking to see them on KZbin?)
