I knew most of the info here from previous research but still really enjoyed the presentation and watched the whole video. I would like some of those geobins but I'm currently limited to my 80g dual chamber tumbler (40g each side). I've learned some cons to the tumblers which is mainly I would have to have it in the garage in winter to let it get hot...

Tumblers def have their pros but...light , water , air!! With the right ratio you could have snow melting off the top of that geobin!!

Very interesting...seems a good cheaper way to get the fertilizer we need for our shrubs and flowers. Actually anyone could do this I'm going to try it at my home for my potted plant and flower beds. Thank you for sharing helpful information.

I have started keeping quail But how many female quail would you need to make a reasonable profit? Cheers Mark Love your video's

I’d need to know what kind of profit you’re expecting. Formost you get eggs and meat. Then you sell cull roosters. Then eating eggs. Then hatching eggs once you master the fertility rate. That’s where the profit comes from . People want high hatch rates but they control that not you…..you need to control fertility rates.

I just use a section of Hogwire fencing and make a circle out of it. Wack done, works great.

I bought some metal sheeting at Home Depot that looks very similar to that for $10. 3 x 3 round. All I had to do was zip tie it. They sell theirs for $40......

I have 2 geo bins. I’ve had them for 2 years and haven’t actually gotten any compost out. I keep adding and stirring as it falls or compresses. Could y’all do a video actually knowing when to stop and how to harvest from the geo bin. Mine has never been as full as yours and the top look “finished.” Please please do a harvesting video.

So what I do is I built a 2’x3’ frame and covered it with 1/2” wire and I sift the compost into wheelbarrows. What does not go thru goes back in the geobin. I harvest about every six months. I have 4 that I stagger so that one is ready about every 90 days.
