There is a way to speed up more than 4x in Vegas so you wouldn't have to render twice, but I can't remember how exactly since I haven't touched it in years. There was some tool you'd use to do smooth transitions between different speeds, and I would combine that tool with the normal "squish the timeline" way of speeding up playback. Was the tool called velocity? I think you'd access it from right clicking on the video clip? It's been a while...

@leq69923 ай бұрын
@@billybobbob3003 it absolutely is. the forward, backward, and strafe movement speed is much slower in Q2, and there's zero air control like Quake had. Strafe jumping and ramp jumping in Quake 2 are great, but general movement is slow and clunky. This doesn't even take into consideration the terribly slow weapon switching, reloading time (super shotgun especially), rocket velocity, and the awful chaingun spool-up time.
@billybobbob30033 ай бұрын

@decebal01US5 жыл бұрын
If you are using Quake2 RTX, then open the game and go to "Multiplayer" and click on the first option "browse q2servers.com". You should then be able to connect. Quake2 multiplayer is free, you only need the demo version of the game and patch it to v3.20. But there is no built in server browser. That is why I recommend q2pro, its a small alternative client for Quake2 with an integrated browser for q2servers.com. There is a site with an easy made installer here to get you started. But it does not have ray-tracing q2s.tastyspleen.net
