This is the Grand Final of the Quake3 1vs1 Tournament, from QuakeCon 2004. The two competitors are Paul "CZM" Nelson (USA) and John "ZeRo4" Hill (USA). The winner of this tournament would take home 25000 $.
The game is Quake 3 Arena + the "OSP" Competition Mod.
In this video, you will see the last map played in this Final, ztn3dm1 aka "Blood Run".

Great game by CZM and Zero4. But honestly I was the most impressed by the commentary. So refreshing hearing good quake3 commentary by female voices.

Hated them actually, so much that I muted the sound to not hear them speak anymore. Not because they were women, but because their commentary was IMO very useless.

@@OzoneGrif I agree. I much prefer insight vs. hearing play by plays. I mean we can see what they're doing in the game so telling me they "picked up mega, xxx health" over and over is really useless. I think 2GD was the best Quake commentator of all time.

Hey decebal any chance you could offer a download for your vids? I love watching them in high quality, but youtube loves shitting the bed and despite a solid connection on my end your videos on original almost always refuse to load. I'd love to be able to download them. Not to mention it would then also be viewable in a higher fps. And considering how much work you put into them, I'd love to be able to get it in max quality. Well to be fair, every caster makes mistakes, no mater how experienced they are. I've heard 2gd, ddk, zoot, djwheat, joe and other great commentators making some mistakes, its just a human thing to do. I for one loved the way these two casted this match, it was entertaining and I wish we had more women commentating Quake matches :)
