I genuinely understand why people like content creators get rewarded for playing jank, but will always prefer genuine content of a player attempting to win, even if they dont end up winning.

many many non-mythic rares that end your game when opp wins the die roll Planeswalkers, Thrun, Bloated Contaminator, Phyrexian Arena, Glissa even Skrelv

@@RW77777777 honestly, it's not the rares that bothers me but the relentless nature of the format. There is no breathing room and the punishment for stumbling for a turn is very harsh. Draw one too many lands and you are probably dead.

One Sealed almost made me cry. I think I lost 11 of my sealed games practicing for the qualifer. But I did qualify on my first attempt 6-1! The best was to try to learn each time. It was hard but I had to rethink all my card evaluations.

I aspire to your cool while losing. I had a time yesterday after sinking more than I probably should have into this play in. Ended up getting 7 wins on the 5th or 6th try I think. Some of those early losses were tough though

Although Nummy is more chill than most, i would assume when you stream, it`ll come with the job. Also, the sheer amount of Magic he plays in a day would make him used to both losing and winning. Allthough that does not apply to everyone.

@@muffZor89 True. I mean, even a 60% winrate in Magic is only achieved by very good players. You have to lose some number of games.

aw, Kenji, i feel for you, man.. my sealed pool was NUTS (Eternal Wanderer, Elesh Norn, Melira plus an incredible black removal suite) and i just had the worst draws i've literally ever seen. my draws this format have felt particularly bad, didnt seem nearly this bad in BRO and that format didnt even have the Sphere lands to sac! best of luck on the next one! at least you werent like me where you spent $25 to get $7 back :P

I went 7-0 in with a sealed with a GBU proliferate strategy. 2 of the flying GB gold card, one of the BU rare proliferate guy, lots of enablers, I think I poised out my opponent (or got a concede) all 7 times. lovely when it comes togethor but I don't think I would try and draft it.

It's such a joke that they make a premium event phantom. Imagine phantom sealed for those who don't care about a collection and the cards are truly worthless that would be a good product but there is no need for that when they can force their useless product on you cause you got nowhere else to go.

I've never been land flooded SO MUCH in Arena in my life! I'm putting 13 lands in my decks and am still drawing 5-6 lands in a row EVERY Game.

Money hungry wotc. I have had the exact experience and as long as people pay for more gems, they will continue to hide the shuffler data from us. It’s too profitable to make us lose. Just look at the math behind the layout structure for limited. 4 wins is -100 gems in bo1. On average players will lose a small amount of gems per draft.
