Love you, Mama Tran! Those dishes she makes are so involved! So much prep!!! She is definitely NOT lazy!!! She looked really pretty in her sweater. I understand that some people might not like that texture, but it seems similar to the texture of Korean spicy rice cake, so I'm sure that I would love it. Of course she puts her love into every dish she makes.....that's why they taste so wonderful.

Yummy! This is one of my favorite dishes that my mom makes. There you go with the "Fried Shallots". You were missing them on the Banh Beo last time. My family call this (1) Banh Loc and (2) Banh Loc La (Leaf)
