My research on Yelp oftentimes has led me to alot of undeserved 1 star reviews due to minor or petty complaints such as: 1. Customer Service. (For example, "The waiter did not immediately lay out the red carpet and applause when my husband and I walked in.") 2. Online Delivery/Takeout Snafu. ("I ordered lunch for my entire workforce and one of the sandwiches had spinach instead of arugula.") 3. Unrealistic expectations. ("I know this place serves burgers but their sushi doesn't look or taste anything like what I had in Kyoto.")

Sometimes Yelp is not reliable. You get reviewers who just like to complain. It may not even be about the food or service. They just like to hate and have attitude. There's a good restaurant in my area. Whenever I go, the food and service are very good to excellent, never had any problems. However, the average rating is 1-2 stars, complaints of slow service, food orders being wrong, worse location, etc. It's as if there is a conspiracy to take this eatery down. I don't know what the deal is.
