I always make these rolls myself because in Germany the Asian food doesn't taste good. It tastes bland and boring. So I make it myself. I love making shrimp or chicken tempura rolls because it's my boyfriend's favourite. Plus, it's difficult to get fresh fish here. We're not near the ocean. :) But I often don't make the original tempura, I usually fry it with a batter of beaten eggs and panko (or self-made breading).
