Has this kind of analysis actually helped you trade better? Seems like trading platforms would have most tools by default. However you could make your own strategies. But have you had any success with it? or do you know of anyone else that demonstrates success with it? I would like to learn R and get insights into the market. But the market seems so random.

You have a point. It is highly unlikely that you will find hidden gold chips from the markets, which are already very well known.

Thank you for the video, seems like the "quantmod" is not working on mac, one of the dependencies, zoo, is not available. Is there a fix for that?

You might have to install needed c or c++ libraries. I had a similar issue on ubuntu 18
