For people who come across this video - we made a decision to deprecate the local GUI in 2022 to focus bandwidth on the VSCode project. The goal by August 2022 is to have a VSCode extension that runs locally which is identical to the cloud version of QuantConnect. We're working hard on the project are confident we'll see the prototype next month.

I would want to run local backtests with my own data, write my own brokerage integration and run Lean on my own server for live trading. Do I need an account subscription for that? I tried the VSCode extension and it says I need to upgrade my account starting at $8 per month but then it added nodes etc. coming to $600 per year which would be fine as long as I can live trade through my own brokerage integration.

is doc/v2 something new? documentation link does not go there currently

Yes its the replacement for the documentation, we've been working on it for 10 months now! It's still not quite complete so we're in an awkward transition phase where we have some new products shipped with docs in the new v2 only.

FYI -- The documentation is now live and the old documentation has been deprecated.

He can lean engine run cloud and does it support webhook event ? For example I want to setup some triggers on TA such as RSI MACD and soon it matches my parameters I want lean to send out a notification like webhook to an external endpoint. Is this possible ?

Hi! Is there a way to add my own data from other vendors?
@Quantconnect2 жыл бұрын
Yes just convert the data into a LEAN format and it'll work locally.
