Great presentation, thank you! But I wanna ask qPCR introduced in your video means the Reverse Transcription-qPCR, right? However, quantitative Real-Time PCR is also called qPCR. Actually, quantitative Real-Time PCR and Reverse Transcription- qPCR are different, which is because the former doesn't involve RNA extraction and reverse transcription, but only DNA amplification. Generally, Reverse Transcription-qPCR maybe more often be named as RT-qPCR or RT-PCR.

RT-qPCR or RT-PCR are not the same. RT-PCR is a conventional PCR but includes an RT step before the PCR, while RTqPCR is a real time (either quantitative or qualitative) PCR including an RT step either a one step reaction or a two step reaction, therefore when talking about real time, the standard abbreviation is q and not RT.
