I saw you guys at Rocky Top 2023, and I tried the timer out for the first time like 5 mins ago. Its looks really clean and is great to use!

Very nice :) I figured it wasn’t totally abandoned but I have wondered about if it was progressing. Glad to hear that there have been improvements since I used it, I’m excited to check it out. I have a few questions as well. First, when in offline mode, are the greyed out solves saved locally or do they disappear once the webpage or app closes? I often use my iPad a timer when I’m at comps and having solves not save locally due to no connection would not be very fun. If they are saved locally and I do solves on my phone and iPad before reconnecting to internet, which ones are saved? Also I assume you have Bluetooth/stackmat/gan timer implementation on the checklist but what other features from other popular timers do you want to import and which are you not at all planning on? Personally I’d like for QuantumCube to connect my WCA and highlight a result or stat that beats my official PR (like if i get a sub-6.37 3x3 single or sub 7.7 avg, it lights up). Lastly, do you have plans to reupload the test build to TestFlight for Apple users? Thanks for answering if you do

When in offline mode, the solves save to localStorage, which persist across sessions. So if you were to do some solves on your browser, and then do a bunch after you lost connection, as soon as you opened the page back up when online, all the solves you completed in offline mode would be uploaded. The problem though is that currently you would need to load the timer through the browser in the first place. Once we have the apps back up, they'll be able to store times across all your sessions with no internet connection. No promises on time imports right now. Highlighting a solve that beats an official PR is a great idea! We are working on rebuilding a much better timer experience for the official apple app store now! You'll see it soon!

Hey! I met Thomas at Rocky Top a few weeks ago and got to try out the timer, I really liked it! I've been messing around with it, and I was wondering if you're planning on switching Clock scrambles to WCA any time soon? As clock is my main event, that's really the only thing stopping me from using this timer all the time. I'd also love to see a darkmode :)

Oof thanks for pointing that out! I'm not a clock solver so i didn't know that was an issue. Currently we are rebuilding the app in a new framework so we are not making too many changes on the old app. We will be sure to implement WCA clock scrambles in our new app and I will let you know when this issue is resolved! Should only be a few weeks!
