I'm generally quite open minded, but attributing things to quantum mechanics that quantum mechanics doesn't claim, is bad. Coming from someone who has actually studied quantum physics, this guy has no idea what he is talking about: * Entanglement does NOT occur when quantum objects form at the same instant (I don't know where he got that from). It occurs when two or more quantum objects get correlated or statistically dependent on one another, which happens when they interact with each other. * An action performed on one of two entangled particles will NOT automatically affect the other particle. Even if by measuring the state of one of the particles you automatically gain information about the state of the other article, this is just knowledge and does not affect or modify the other particle. * A particle is NOT either a wave or a particle. A particle is (unsurprisingly) always a particle. However, a particle is a type of wave. So a particle is always both a particle and a wave. This is NOT superposition as superposition involves two different states, which this is not. * Measuring the state of one particle can determine the state of another particle it is entangled with, so he is right about that. However, this does NOT mean that information can be transmitted from one particle to the other instantly, at least not any information we are interesting of transmitting. We can not use this as a means of communication, for example. The only information that possibly may be said to be transmitted is the information that was just measured, which was previously unknown to us. This does not help us to transmit any information which we would actually like to send. * A particle can NOT tunnel through space just because it is entangled with another particle. Particles can spontaneously tunnel very short distances through space, but this phenomenon does not have anything to do with entanglement. We can not teleport particles, not even photons. We can only transmit quantum information from one point to another through something known as quantum teleportation; maybe this is what he is referring to. However, this does still not transfer any actual matter or particles. His claim about quantum computers/artificial intelligence is also a bit off, in my opinion. Quantum computers will probably be very powerful, but this does not mean they will be out of human control. A computer out of control would be useless. Arguably, if we would let artificial intelligence, or AI, evolve itself, it would maybe eventually get out of control, but that would be because it would essentially write its own code which means that we would have handed over the control to the AI. This is not how artificial intelligence works today and it is still we who write the code, so artificial intelligence is not out of control. And just because we transition to quantum computers does not mean that we will let the computer write their own code. They will essentially still be used like classical computers. Gaia, please stop selling this (excuse my French) load of crap.

I think everyone is entitled to her believes, and I am open to the existence of all kinds of possible phenomena that modern science cannot explain, haven't discovered yet or haven't acknowledged yet. I’m aware that science has still just explored a fraction of what there is to explore about universe, and that many scientists can be closed-minded when they deal with something that science currently cannot really handle. What I am against is explaining such phenomena using false or misleading statements and attributing them to science while they are in fact very non-scientific. This kind of erroneous justification of spiritual theories or observations is very respectless towards science and hurts the spiritual community (although not many people seem to realize it). If we want to be taken seriously by the scientific community, so that the two fields can start to approach each other and eventually merge, we need to be respectful and listen what science actually says-not twist it and bend it until it suits us, which is to abuse science. Maybe I was a bit harsh in my last comment. It's just that as a scientist who is also interested in spirituality, this respectless behavior gets me fired up.

As a scientist it took me a minute to realize he is talking about the divine spark. He’s saying how quantum entanglement occurred when two objects formed at the same instant, in this case twin souls. He got this information from ancient texts. Ancient texts are actually way ahead of our current science & we’re finally starting to catch up & understand what they mean.
