Though it doesn't sound good, but truth is, all these so-called influencers are just dishonest and teasing (spoiling) weak minds with their good oratory skill. They may start from anything else but will finish with predefined goal. To react for such content, we are putting so many efforts while content-creator puts minimum effort to create content! Ideally, such content (or content creator) doesn't deserve any time and effort from intellectuals, like Pranav. Only in other intention, attempt can be justified if it helps weaker minds to unfollow those dishonest content creators. But, I believe, those weaker minds are already damaged, and they will never follow Pranav's channel or check Pranav's content.

Appreciate this, not least because this fallacy and claim are more common than I'd be comfortable with. Minor nitpick at 2:58 - Science has evidence, not proof. That's more a mathematical and logical thing, carrying significant epistemological differences (maths is a priori, science is a posteriori) :)

@darkside66102 ай бұрын
Well these things may not exist but nobody can say with definite proof that they don't exist. I personally have had a few instances when I literally can't say what's true or what's false. I'm not saying they are real because it can't be proved but this can't be disproved either. Science doesn't discard the belief but says there is no evidence to support it or it can't be proved because they don't follow our physical laws. See anything beyond our current understanding would look like magic but it isn't. Maybe one day we will have a definition of what they are.

Quantum mechanics is so misunderstood it's like weapons for pseudoscience 😅. Most people understand double slit experiment is like one electron passing from both slit at a one time(not actually and not measured too because measuring it destroys Quantum super position) actually We named this state is Quantum super position and it can't be explained by any word or sentence it's strange and didn't uncovered until now. What we are doing is we are trying to explain mathematically not verbally.

My main issue with Pranav and Vimoh is not the fact that they are atheists-I respect people having different viewpoints-but, in my opinion, that they spend a lot of time attacking different views. I get it; in India especially, people tend to get duped quite often by believing certain figureheads who confidently spout pseudoscience, and as concerned citizens, we should be highlighting and debunking these. However, asserting that scientific methods are the only way we can understand the universe also lacks intellectual humility. Many indigenous cultures have had their own ways of looking at nature and engaging in practices that seem absurd to us modern humans. In fact, that became the root of how they had their lives uprooted through colonialism-because the Europeans who had progressed through the Scientific Revolution saw these communities as "backward" and their gods and religions as "primordial.". They were living in lands that were rich with resources and had a symbiotic rather than extractive relationship with nature, which was then exploited over time by setting in place capitalistic systems that made the colonial masters richer. I don't necessarily agree with everything that is said in religious texts-not to forget that we are interpreting them through the lens of modern society, and probably a lot of the ideas mentioned in these texts have been diluted, misinterpreted, and lost in translation-but I do feel that the core ideas across many religions, spiritual in nature, are related to the oneness of humankind and perceiving God in their own different ways. You can think of God as a supernatural entity that is vast and hence, by definition, beyond our understanding. Just as the entire cosmos continues to exist outside whatever drama we humans create here on this small - at least in relation to the observable universe - yet beautiful planet we call Earth. It reminds me of that dialogue from the film PK about how "there are two Gods: the one we have created and the one that exists beyond our comprehension." Due to our scientific and technological progress over the last few centuries, we as a species have grown rather arrogant. We have gotten this idea that we are a supreme species and that we are the masters of the universe. However, once we peel back the layers and embrace the attitude of curiosity, we can then begin to question the nature of reality and decondition ourselves from the ideas that are prevalent in society. Different societies and cultures have their own way of seeing things and none can be inherently evaluated as right or wrong, but the problem comes when the clash of ideas puts us in a place of "us vs them", and we try to attack our opponents, rather than trying to find a way to live in harmony and work towards the "greater good".

@anirban74932 ай бұрын
Too many times have I seen the Observer effect being misinterpreted and misused as something related to the consciousness of the observer. I am studying Quantum mechanics as a part of GATE physics syllabus, let me clarify this once and for all. A quantum particle is described by it's wave function or state | Ψ ⟩. Now this state contains all the information about the particle and can itself be expressed as a summation of other states , this is called superposition. Eg. let state | Ψ ⟩ represent the spin state of an electron | Ψ ⟩ = α •| ↑ ⟩ + β •| ↓ ⟩ where the term α in front of the state | ↑ ⟩ represent the square root of the probability of the electron residing in state | ↑ ⟩ (spin up state) and β in front of | ↓ ⟩ represents the square root of the probability of finding the electron in spin down state. The electron doesn't have a specific spin until we measure it, but when we do measure it we never find it in state | ψ⟩, we either find it in spin up stae | ↑ ⟩ with a (α² × 100) % chance or we find it in spin down state | ↓ ⟩ with a (β²× 100)% chance. But wait, what do we mean by measurement in this context? To understand this we need to see what actually happens when we measure the electron spin, we pass it through an inhomogenus magnetic field, this magnetic field disturbs the state | Ψ ⟩ and forces the electron to assume either state | ↑ ⟩ or state | ↓ ⟩ with the said probabilities. This is called the collapse of the wave function. You see, it is the magnetic field that disturbed the electron and collapsed the wave function, not the consciousness of the experimenting scientist. In general the collapse of the wave function is a result of an interaction of the system with the factors and influences of the outside world, and that interaction can either be induced by the the action of a conscious observer trying to measure the system or it may be induced by mundane natural factors, for example say it naturally cane under the influence of an inhomogenus magnetic field. The observer or consciousness has little to do with it. Note: In this particular example, it happens to be the case that, α = β = 1/√2 this means (α²×100)% = (β²×100)% = 50% . This means, upon measurement, there is a 50 % chance that we will find the electron to be in spin up state | ↑ ⟩ and there is a 50% chance that we'll find the electron to be in spin down state | ↓ ⟩.

Another way to think about it is that the observer gets entangled to one of the states of the electron.
