Meditation on emptiness is a clairvoyant insight from thousands of years ago into the secrets of the vacuum. The physics of the vacuum may hold the keys to hyperspace

quantum mechanics are mathematical realities of infinitesimally small. it has nothing to do with human behaviour or human psychology or social interaction. get real.

Huh, seems someone has a fundamental lack of understanding as to the nature of quantum mechanics. The double slit and Quantum eraser experiments have shown us when a bit of matter regardless of size, (including a Buckminsterfullerene ball) interacts with consciousness there is a collapse of super positioning. Knowing that our consciousness affects reality; it is only natural that our philosophy and quantum mechanics meet.

Funny, I equally object to scientists discussing Madhyamaka philosophy. But if HHDL is ok with it, maybe there is some benefit to the discussion.

Buddhism, ultimately, is not about human behaviour or psychology or social interaction. It's about putting an end to suffering through realizing the true nature of reality. Get real, brother.

The Madhyamika dialectic is the the critique and exposition of nothing less than the logical underpinnings of all thought about phenomena, scientific and otherwise. As such it has everything to do with the phenomenologicl acquistion of experience. And that has all kinds of neurophysiological and psychological implications. If you weren't so incredibly narrow-minded, you wouldn't make such ignorant statements as the above.

As much As I respect these fine gentlemen and their philosophy of peace and tranquility, They have NO BUSINESS to discussed Quantum Physics or Quantum Mechanics. "If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics." Richard Feynman, A great Mind

+Ghulam Hussain What is your reason for the "They have NO BUSINESS to discussed Quantum Physics or Quantum Mechanics."??? Did ou even make it to the quantum physics and nature of reallity part of the video series? livestream.com/DalaiLamaEnglish/quantum/videos/104353574

+Ghulam Hussain Why do they have no business in a aspect of science? The Dalai Lama's beliefs revolves around causality and since our knowledge of quantum physics is not yet complete, we can only try to understand. The quote is pretty ignorant. It might reflect today, but it will not explain the point of time where we actually discover the whole of quantum physics.

Impermanence, also called Anicca or Anitya, is one of the essential doctrines and a part of three marks of existence in Buddhism. The doctrine asserts that all of conditioned existence, without exception, is "transient, evanescent, inconstant".
