Really simplified explaining for starters. I`ve apreciated it a lot. I've been struggling with rigid theorical material for Phd's but I'm not Phd but I love QComputing and I'll not surrender until I understand it pratically and conceptualy even in my High School level knowledges of physics at a starting point. Thank you!

Thank you!! I know -- understanding that at that REALLY deep level takes time, and it feels like the rabbit hole is never ending. This is not how books usually do it, but hopefully it piques interest and fill in some gaps to make the rigid theory make more sense.

If you can send the entangled qubit to Bob using e.g. fiber optics. Why do we need a Quantum Teleportation protocol for Q_message we want to transfer? Can't we just sent this using the same physical channel?
@carlo70no8 күн бұрын
Because if don’t really know the state of an actual Q message, quantum teleportation is the only way to transfer it preserving its value, superposition, phase etc.

Fantastic video, I'm actually in the middle of working on this exact protocol for a uni project lol! But I've been having some trouble, when you do the "disentangler-gate" at the end for Bob's qubit can you code this state to have it on placed on the bloch sphere using the "aer simulator" and: out_vector = sim.run(qc).result().get_statevector() plot_bloch_multivector(out_vector) Qiskit's textbook had an example earlier without the disentangler that worked, however when including it in I kept getting a "QISKIT ERROR" saying that the disentangler sequence is not compatible. I haven't been able to find a clear answer anywhere explaining this. Is there a way around this or should I just call it quits at this point? Thanks again

Can you tell me how to visualize these circuits ?
@CryptoReds3 жыл бұрын
Ok so teleportation is a way to send quantum information over a very long distance. First I need to physically transport the qubit to the recipient, then due to entanglement, the change in state on both qubits is instantaneous, and when we want to measure, the states collapse and the message is received and interpreted. Is that correct?
@felipechoy21563 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm working on my thesis related to Quantum information and quantum computing and this is so good. I have one big question about IBM quantum computers. Can I execute the circuit using measurments to indicate the classic comunication on the real quantum computers? I mean, it seems to work but when I do tomography it looks bad, this could happend beacuse quantum computers has a ton of errors but, idk. What do you think?

I am an old retired computer architect and software engineer so I have a /strong/ understanding of "classic" computers internal working. I'm just starting to look at Quantum out of curiosity, and I found your videos are an excellent starting point. I have a question for you, probably naive, but I would really want to know: Is quantum entanglement over very distant places even a possibility?. If that's the case, I guess it would open the opportunity to essentially have instant long distance communication (even between people on different planets, such as Mars to Earth communications, now requiring minutes to hours due to speed of light). Thanks in advance
@WilliamDye-willdye3 жыл бұрын
Entanglement is independent of distance, to the point where it appears to play a strong role in forming what we perceive as "distance" itself -- spacetime. Many smart people have considered FTL communication through entanglement, but long story short, the act of reading the message creates a causal link between the sender and receiver, and (full, information-carrying) causality always travels at c. A little searching should bring up several good resources on the topic.

Hey Anastasia, thank you for this video. I have one small doubt regarding measurement in different basis. The unitary that we should apply before making a Z measurement should be transforming the computational basis to the desired basis of measurement, right? I have often seen people say the other way, they say it takes from desired basis to computational basis and they don't say that we should invert the unitary. So, I am a bit confused.

Can you do an interview with Lex Fridman? I just think it would help a lot of women out there on getting to know you and what it takes to be a quantum physicist. And I think the conversation would be enlightening on technology with the help of both of your personalities. I just feel it doesn’t hurt to ask but GREATLY helps if actions DO take place.
@thebeerwaisnetwork80243 жыл бұрын
I actually believe in a teleporative force that stems from the universe not being predetermistic. In other words, the universe is randomly generated at every instance of time. And if we were to time travel back in time, events will play out completely differently. I thought you were going to talk about that. Also, in my opinion, particles should be able to spontaneously collide but they can't because of a teleportative force. That's just my opinion.
