Having a physics and math undergrad and then doing math grad school, I'd say most physicists are okay at applying math, but not so good with doing any kind of math at a rigorous level that mathematicians find meaningful. There is the occasional person that does physical mathematics or mathematical physics (take your pick of what you want to call them) but they're just mathematicians that take detours through physics on occasion.

Haha lol ! I’m a math major ! A week ago I had came back after a calculus class test taken by our teacher . It was out of 40 . It went pretty well for me and I thought I would score somewhat 36/40 or something . Today was the result , I scored 25 lol😂😢😂😢 I don’t know if I should laugh or cry ! But this is kind of a regular story for a maths student . What I did was that most of my integration and differentiation was correct but I had ended up making “BASIC “ addition subtraction mistakes . Like in one question I had literally written 56-23 = 23 like what the actual fuck??
