Hello loves! I’m starting off the science and math videos with a little bit of history lol! But I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making the video! I’m still working on audio and video editing so if you have any tips I’d love that! And much love to you all! 🥰🥰🥰❤️

@Quantum ASMR, Aren't you allowed to delete shitty people's comments? I think you already know your self worth, so perhaps saying this doesn't add much, but don't ever let someone tell you that you "don't know physics" or somehow make you feel "less than" for "only" getting the Bachelor's degree or some bullcrap. You are a real physicist. You are a real scientist. You deserve to be here. You worked hard to get your degree. You are even doing something more useful and creative with it than most. And your worth is not determined by how many years you slaved away in academic hazing to add additional letters to the end of your name, nor is one's qualification as a physicist determined by their ability to solve book problems or perform complex analysis in their head or what-have-you. You are a valuable member of the physics community. Please keep up the good work. :)

Hey Quantum! Loved the video and hoping you do more in this style :) Couple things re the audio editing: To get rid of the volume pumping effect I would try slowing down the release of the compressor, playing with the threshold (so it's only compressing the loudest words/sounds) and then using the makeup gain to raise the uncompressed softer sounds to the same level as the compressed sounds. Perhaps a limiter after the compressor to even it all out and bring it up to a easy listening volume. Oh and watch those crossfades! :)

Lord Kelvin: “There is nothing new to be discovered in physics now. All that remains is more and more precise measurement.” oof oof

Yeah, Lord Kelvin was a bit of a major dick. His straight up bullying of Darwin over the age of the Earth (basically using the logic in the quote you included) was pretty epic, and quite shameful.

Really love your voice and the subject was great 😊 But regarding to the editing, try to use constant power (Bezier) audio transitions, and you can stand to make them much shorter so that they don't have such noticeable fade in and out, also the audio is a little tinny, which may be the microphone, or could be general lake of acoustics in the room. Minor things though, love your work
@QuantumASMR3 жыл бұрын
I’ve been using the constant power for transitions but I’ll see if making them shorter helps :) still new to audio editing so I’m learning as I go haha
