*Quarantine process might be a little different for those not vaccinated in Korea *Neogen skincare ships globally(check availability in the link) and make sure you use the code at check out because it’s not automatic! *You might not get the Quarantine food like I did depending on the district you are in!!

it's not about whether you were vaccinated in korea, it's about whether you're a korean citizen or permanent resident. if you're not a korean citizen or a permanent resident (someone with a long-term visa with a residence in korea), you have to pay to stay at a government quarantine facility.

@@ThizisDanny if you got vaccinated in another country, it is now possible to register that vaccine in the COOV app. Actually, korean citizens could always register their vaccines, even if they received their vaccine abroad. The issue was that the Korean government was recognizing vaccine status of Korean nationals but not foreigners.

Things I’ve learned: 1) the whole process of quarantining seems very organized. All that food 😱😱😱. 2) never forget the neck 3) i need a blanket hoodie 4) after I quarantined, it felt super weird leaving my house as well. 5) I agree, it goes fast if you got things to do. That being said, I’m a real homebody. This was nice to watch! ❤️

First thought when I saw your bed right next to the window: it must be chilly in winter! Living a life of a Hikikomori for 10 days - although it seems it’s not such a problem for you since you were productive during that time. On a personal note, for the last 2 years, because I'm older, I've not gone anywhere, except outside to get exercise and going to the store for groceries when crowds are light. Your quarantine sounds like my job with the patient. Checking temperature and high blood pressure everyday and taking care of them. It reminds me when I got COVID two years ago, I was quarantine for a month and it was no fun. All I did was sleep. I wanted to go to work so bad, but I made it and COVID free now. Lol. Quarantine in NYC so different! I do like that Korea gives you a food package. Neogen are my favorite skincare products. You are so about hygiene.

Very interesting to watch, a documentary of a time that will definitely be interesting in the future... I love your videos and I love, love, love your accent.. I am American but lived in Italy for a time, my ex in- laws are from the UK, so I spent a lot of time there and love to travel and learn about other cultures.. I love how men in Korea are not too macho about skin care and hygiene and clothes etc. And so nice you start taking care of your skin so young! ( I'm a lot older, it paid off to start young and stay out of the sun) 😁 glad you made it out healthy!❤️

Three things that stood out to me: 1) American quarantine involves either getting a call that you're positive, then...nothing. No bag of cleaning supplies, no box of quarantine food, no follow-up. 2) What is a Guinness bun?? 3) Dan's morning hair was the best part of my morning (granted, my day just started). Being comfortable with showing people a natural state isn't easy, and I applaud the confidence. 👏👏👏👏👏

It's interesting seeing how your quarantine was. I am currently in quarantine here for a study abroad trip and I am glad they reduced it to only 7 days. Just a few more days and another covid test until I get to explore Korea for the first time :)

Because of your videos, I've actually been more consistent with my skin care routine. I noticed my skin started clearing and even glowing in one of the normal problem areas! So I'm very excited to see how my skin will look by this summer. You're right. That care package 📦 from your government contained a lot of food! It was so nice of them to care for their citizens in that way. Very thoughtful. I must admit that the orange trash bag looked a bit on the smaller side but it could be that it was folded. The view from the new arrangement of your bedroom is lovely! 🛏🪟⛰ It reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii and Colorado. I was blessed with spectacular views at some point during my time in each place. So happy for you to have such an awe inspiring view to greet you as you wake up. Your furry kiddies were so excited to see you and have you back. Too cute! 🐕🐩 I do touch my face a whole lot and know that I shouldn't. I used to work at a medispa years ago and learned from them too that touching my face constantly wasn't healthy for my skin. My skin used to be so bad back. I'm grateful that it's better now. Since you have Disney plus as well, would you please consider giving a brief review on Cinderella starring Whitney Houston, Brandy, Paolo Montalban, Victor Garber, and other awesome actors? It's one of my absolute favorite Disney movies 🏰🎬🍿 of all time! 🤩💯 It actually touched my heart to see you allow your emotions to be free during the movie "Lost In Space". I always do the same so I only watch movies either alone or when I feel like I'm in a safe & non-judgmental space (very rare, unfortunately) with others. This is why I spend majority of my time alone. 😌 Did you listen to the recommended song for Valentines Day dedication to you & all of your viewers entitled "Somewhere Out There" by James Ingram & Linda Ronstadt (with lyrics)? Very family friendly so you don't have to worry about minor viewers being exposed to inappropriate content. It also has a super awesome electric guitar 🎸 solo in it that I think rocks and yet doesn't take away from the heart warming vibe of the overall song. Your blanket hoodie is absolutely adorable! 🧡🧸💯 It look like it feels comfy, cozy, cuddly, and warm. 🤗🥰 Not gonna lie, I was excited to see your record player towards the end of the video. Those are super cool to me. Yayy! Another episode from your "Bedtalk" series, which is one of my favorite features of your channel. I've spent a whole lot of time at night reflecting on the day before closing my eyes and quietly making an assessment of the overall day. 😌🛌🏽 This has been also done during a long evening soak 🛀🏽 to help prepare for bed. Someday I'd love to own a very nice jacuzzi with massage jets to especially help my lower back. Degenerative disc can be uncomfortable but a really warm gentle aquatic massage provides some relief. The one that I viewed was a lyric video that was from 11 years ago by “abi wabi-sabi” channel, it is 3:59 in length, 18M views, and only has beautiful still photos of nature. I forgot to copy the link for it in the recommendation so I’m definitely confused yet intrigued to know which KZbin video did you view. My sincere apologies, my lovely friend. I’d never ever recommend something that would intentionally terrify someone. Please forgive me. I do hope that you’ll check out the one that I originally intended to cleanse your mental/emotional palate from the previous experience. I’m so embarrassed. 😳 You’ll see why I chose this calming video due to the lovely scenery of nature. There are no scary faces in the one that I suggested. (A few minutes later…) Okay. I'm glad you managed to do the full quarantine. I respect people who care about others enough to follow government guidelines. As someone who had a family member who was immune compromised, it's annoying seeing selfish ppl not wearing masks because they don't care about the fact that they can spread the virus to others even when vaccinated... only that they are safe. Yeah it could really be dangerous for some people..! I do think this whole situation won’t be able to be controlled anymore. It’s impossible to track the routes and you could be exposed to it everywhere or expose it to everywhere without you even knowing.

@@ThizisDanny It's basically impossible because too many people are selfish and don't do their part, break quarantine, etc. It's sad that people care more about their own shit than people dying. Luckily, most people won't have horrible symptoms, but this is scary because it could happen with a deadlier disease and this shows how poorly humans handle stuff.
