Quarantine Babies Update ( PREHISTORIC PETS)

The Reptile Zoo May be closed for the public, but quarantine from COVID-19 does not stop these baby pythons from hatching so it’s our job essential worker (LOVE MY JOB) So I had to come in and take care of them along with the other hundred plus species who call the zoo home. We will never give up on our dream. Look at these amazing PIED reticulated pythons. Wow living the dream in tough times

Hi from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, due to my disability this hasn't made much difference to my life. The one good thing out of all this is that it is so nice to have peace and quiet, and actually hear the nature at home instead of just down our horse's field, I am missing the horse's as my youngest daughter lives near them and work's next to them in a feed barn, she's been getting the anger off of a few customers but these people are like that anyway. She herself has trouble with her chest, but has been fine. Take care all 😘

I live insouthwesr VA. There are only a handful of cases in my county. I work an essential job , so I am working longer hours, seven days a week. Just to work and home, practicing social distancing and washing my hands an insane amount of times a day. Stay healthy, everyone.

Love seeing all the colors. We live in Arizona. I am self employed and handicapped, so I’m not leaving the house. My son works at the school so he’s off work. My husband is a hydro mechanic at the dam. So he has to work. Our dam provides most of the electricity for almost half the country.

Ashley in Georgia. Things are tough. Had to take father in law off life support. My sister in law lost her uncle two days ago then today her mom tested positive for covid 19 and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. I have a son who has 9 different medical conditions weak immune system is one of them. I’m terrified of him getting it because I know he can’t survive it. But he Loves snakes and we love watching you and Mutation Creation, the Reptarium, etc. it cheers us up. Especially how happy you are! My son Jason is always happy like that too!!

I so look forward to the hatchings daily. we are in week 3 of lockdown in UK. Our primeminister is in intensive care at the moment but doing well. We havent reached our peak yet and today had nearly 1000 deaths in 24 hours. Its a historic time. my husband is in the armed forces and helping with movements and my son is on clean up of a newly built specialist hospital.

We live in New Orleans. Everything is still on locked down. I have several friends who work at the hospitals here and it’s none stop. They are now able to provide iPads to help patients and families stay connected. The amounts of patients is unbelievable. People who normally not ICU and other specialists are all working together to help their patients. We re lucky to be home and safe. But I had so many friends lose a parent. So, far 8 people I know.

Husband and I are both not working haven’t been since the 19th of last month so money is almost completely gone. Hubby was supposed to go back to work on Monday but it’s not gonna happen now they just told him. No telling when he’s going to get to go back to work now. Hope you are doing well wish I could help you, because I totally hate snakes but you have made me see how beautiful they can be. My favorite is the Panda Pi I saw you open. Some really nice looking babies this go round, they sure are pretty. So far I havent seen much for that virus around my area, we are so far out into the boonies, I love it, I can sit outside and sit around a fire and not have any issues. Im also about to have my first batches of goat milk soap, this is whats been keeping me going, milking my girls, playing with the babies and making all natural, no chemical goat milk soap. We love watching the babies. We are in Alabama. So far we are ok. One of my children works in a ER at a hospital here. They are really having so much to deal with from all sides. Even with that said, the staff agrees we in Alabama are doing good compared to cities like New York. Im from Michigan its crazy over here.. we have over 18,000 cases, we also have a stay at home order till end of April, our schools have been closed to students for the rest of this school year, all of my family is safe and doing good.. i am making masks for my family and friends on the frontline and for my family to just have.. i found crochet the masks and putting a liner on the back is alot easier than sewing them.. hope all is well with your guys

Morning Jay, I am from Victoria, Australia. We are in Stage 3 lock down now. It is so crazy and so many people are still not adhering to the lock down rules. Sadly I am not able to stay in quarantine as I work for a Pharmaceutical factory and at the moment we are getting slammed with orders and everything as people are not wanting to go to the store and get stuff. It's so strange going to the big shopping centres and seeing 90% of all the shops closed. I hope you are all doing well at the zoo and that you are all staying safe. Take care Jay. P.S. Hello from Melbourne, Australia. I’m kinda stressed from not knowing if my son will miss out on school or not, as I don’t plan to send him to school. We had the easter holidays brought forward. I just wish I knew what the plan was for here. The father agreed if our state, Victoria, goes full lock down, our son is coming back home to me, which is a huge relief. I’m thankful that we have the internet, imagine if we had to lockdown during WWII! It’s only just starting Autumn, so I expect we’re all going to be spending winter indoors here.

The best thing about Covid-19 is I suddenly have become a big fan of snakes especially retics. I am from Thailand. Right now everything here is pretty much under control. In the beginning it didn't look compromising but after a month or two everything seems to be under control, but all is not so great especially the business side of things. Hi from Australia, we're in a stage 3? Lock down here so we can only leave the house for food, medical, exercise and work. Not everyone is doing the right thing and staying home so hopefully things will still improve and not get worse. I work in medical so not particularly safe because we don't have enough PPE equipment such as masks, gloves etc. Due to China sending faulty PPE to us we have had to start producing our own and it will take some time to get it to where it's needed most. Stay safe, stay home and remember stay in touch with the senior's to make sure they're ok.

Hi Jay. I am in central Queensland Australia, my family and are all safe. Rockhampton has at this stage only 8 cases, Blackwater and Emerald have 0 cases, we are lucky to be living rurally. Rockhampton is 200klms away from Blackwater ( inland) and emerald is 90klms (inland) from Blackwater. Rockhampton is something like 634klms away from Brisbane. My daughter, granddaughter and son in law work and live in emerald and my son works and lives between Blackwater and Rockhampton where I am.

Primarily the Chicagoland area. Our youngest boy is doing as best he can to stay safe while on the Amazon shipping dock pushing packages from god only knows where, my youngest daughter is doing everything she can do to stay safe while working the front lines in the ER and then on what little down time she has, she is a first responder on an ambulance crew down in Missouri. My oldest boy's job was deemed non-essential so he's home with his wife and three kids in Florida and my oldest daughter works at the local hospital in the pharmacy and does rounds to dispense medication. So far Mamabird is still working from home and I work in the field trying to keep the electricity flowing. So far so good.
