Nice video . Good presentation . The finish product , rice and chick peas , looks so delicious . Easy steps to cook, yet amazingly nutritious ! Fond of chick peas , always cooked same in curry , will definitely try your recipe . All the best .

Nice Leana ! We use pigeon peas (quinchoncho in Venezuela, gandules in other parts) instead of channa, and chicken, beef, or salted pigtail. Too, we add carrots, sometimes serpent beans (bodi) also. We call it "pelau" in Trinidad & Tobago. I have no problem if it is vegetarian, like yours !

nice video, i remember when i was a kid living guyana in 80s, me and my friend was doing some bush cook in g.t. broad street,, we almost burn down someone house, but the firetruck came in time, only the bushes got burn, nothing got out of control.
