I've been a fan of Paula Deen since I was literally about 8 years old; I'm now 23, almost 24. I used to watch her cooking show with my Memaw back then & I've continued to watch for all these years. You've taught me how to cook for all of my adolescents, Grandma Paula! Especially your famous baked Mac & Cheese, I follow the majority of Paula's ingredients/steps, & add a couple of my own ingredients. I first made the baked Mac & cheese at 13 & I've made it every year for the family ever since, thanks to you Paula❗️Watching her/even hearing Paula's voice & laugh always gives me nostalgia of my Memaw. Thank you for being a major part of my childhood & early adulthood. Love you, Paula! I will always be a fan. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

When my niece graduated she called me and said all she wanted was me to make the eggs for her party. So I taught my two oldest granddaughters how to make them and we made 200 deviled eggs for that party! My pastor said they are so good I have to call them Heavenly Eggs from now on! lol. @@lesliesmith719 my recipe is pretty much Paula's except that I use 12 eggs, 1 cup Miracle Whip, 1 tablespoon of Hotdog Relish (mustard and relish premixed). I do not use the garnish or paprika because my sister in law is allergic to all peppers. The trick is I use a hand mixer and really whip the yolk mixture before piping into the egg white halves. I steam my eggs as well. From room temp for 9 mins. Then, if I want the yokes still golden and somewhat moist, instantly plunge them into ice water. If I want bright yellow all the way through (still never a green ring!) I wait 1 minute, then plunge them into ice water. Perfect every time. I actually took the time to see how the eggs would turn out at 5, 6, 8, and 9 mins. Try it, y'all. You can have all sorts of texture---some, admittedly, not proper for deviled eggs, but you get the idea. HEH. Thank you, MS. Paula. I'll try the cheese this 4th cook out :)

Instead of mashing the egg yolks with a fork, I run them through my old Mouli grater that's been sprayed with a little olive oil to keep the egg from sticking. You can grate the egg white the same way. Perfect consistency for deviled eggs. For those who don't know about a Mouli grater, it's handheld in 2 parts, and the grater is like a drum that you crank with your hand. I haven't seen one in ages, but many homes had them back in the 1950s. I think I bought my last one about 25 years ago.

Having her check the oven, hearing the sizzling while you're making deviled eggs makes me wish I were there for lunch. Such fun and activity in the kitchen makes me not mind being quarantined!

This reminds me of our family reunion every year, we had a lot of deviled eggs there every time, all of them so good. I’m going to try cheese in mine next time I make them. Sounds really good. ⚡️💖⚡️

I’m just a pickle person! Sweet, dill, garlic, hot...they’re all good to me!

I live lots of fresh herbs in my deviled eggs. A party surprise. Parsley or basil or dill or even arugula. Yum🤗

I add a couple dashes of Worchestershire sauce too! I put all my ingredients into a quart ziploc bag, knead the bag with my hands, cut the corner off one of the ends and pipe the filling into the egg whites! VOILA!!! Love from another southern cook!!!

Sending Love & Prayers to you, Ms Paula, and your family. My family loves all these videos from your home better than the big Network show clips.

I used to make deviled eggs to take to a cookout. I'd pipe the filling into the eggs and they would look so pretty. It seemed like somebody would stop fast in front of us and my husband would hit the brakes and all of my deviled eggs would go flying to one end of the dish....I cant wait to try this at home with the cheese. Thanks for the good recipes!
