Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

If there's one thing that keeps my stress levels in check in the last few months, it is QFR. Thanks Subhasree Akka & Ragamalika TV; definitely not an easy task to touch the 400 mark with the quality of your recreation; in fact, many of your songs are in repeat mode, especially this one. I really do not know how many times I' ve heard this in the recent past, but every time I hear this, one thing is sure to happen - immersion !!! When like minded legends get together, they create magic; and here's one such magic. KV Mahadevan, Kannadasan, PB Srinivas, P Susheela - what divinity is that 🙇‍♂️ !!! Hats off to Subhashree. Song selection , talent spotting and providing them the space to excel . Somehow I felt these two brilliant singers equalled the original number.The Veena player , flautist or flutist ( whichever is right) with incomparable veteran Venkat on tabla make it par excellence .
