Try burning hand sanitiser, 1 its a gel so you can 'paint' it on, 2 it gives off a very nice blue flame

Just Subscribed. A very good video, all three shots are fantastic but my favourite has to the be the the flaming skull. My only criticism is it not being centred in the frame, but the colours of the flames are brilliant !!! Very brave tipping boiling water over the lume cube 😅 Can’t wait to see the next video ! A bit of a noob to this photography stuff, some great images, well done!! What shutter speed etc would you recommend for catching the flames?? Any tips of advice we oild be greatly appreciated!! Another great video though, keep em coming!! 😉 Ally

It all depends on your settings and lighting. Personally I shoot slightly faster than needed and then adjust it in editing but I'd say 1/125 or 1/160 would be fast enough. Best thing to do is take a few shots before to get the lighting correct then light it and have a play around. Hope that helps.

Cool images. Burning skull most impressive, but safer approach would be photoshop et al. Same for steaming water over Lume Cube - good ad for the light durability. How many did you use up to make the vid😁? ☕️💀 Steaming cup effect might also be shot by placing steaming liquid behind cup and illuminate from behind. Point of vid well made, all in all.

Paul M no lume cubes were harmed during the making of this video 😂 I know I could photoshop them all but where’s the fun in that. I’d rather burn my hand hair off for the photo. Maybe I’ll recreate this video but do it with photoshop 🤔 what do you think ?

@@Opticalwander today came the package with this lamp. I have a problem mounting filters. I can't, you can't (?) Mount them under the cap. The only way out is to put a filter on the lamp and hold it lightly ... It has its advantages, you do not need to remove the entire cap to change the filter. Today or tomorrow I will try something similar to you, I don't hide it, I'm a little scared:D
