I love this lesson and your use of musical terminology. I’ve only come across the word “tertiary” in science/philosophy books. Quartal is “homophonous” with chordal. You’re tying it all together!

Wouldn’t a fourth on top be called an eleventh?

Yes, 4th on top is often called 11th - but calling it the 11th implies the inclusion of the 7th and 9th as well (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleventh_chord). It's not an exact science.
