As of right now I haven't bought anything new. I'm still writing in my Travelers notebook passport size and Travelers notebook regularly size. I Love them both. However I did start some sketching which I found classes in the KZbin channel. I Love it. It keeps my mind clear and focus since I am a nurse and that can be stressful at times. An hour long video was such a treat! My personal Q2 favourites are my rediscovery of my camel TN. It was my first TN and I pulled it out a month ago to use, and I love it. I also picked up the blue edition and love that far more than I anticipated. My other favourite is the J Herbin gris nuage ink. I inked it up a few days ago for the first time and it’s the perfect shade of grey to me, I’ve also started stamping for the first time in years, and picked up a few of the MU splice stamps.

I just love hearing you talk about your love for stationery and thanks for accompanying one of my boring work day. I bought a few new stationery items to play with for Q2…I still need to use things more to pick out my favourites among the recent purchases; but a couple of notable mentions thus far is my new B6 LeRight (also known as LeCow) cover with a Mountain front pocket with a little oval lake in the mountainside (the customization is so special); and a Monteverde One Touch Engage pen (it’s a ballpoint pen that uses fountain pen ink).

My Q2 stationary fave has got to be the 500-page Tomoe River paper notebook I got from Odyssey. I've been using it as a basic "wall of text" journal, but I spice it up by never using the same color of ink on two entries in a row, and I put a random washi sticker at the beginning of each entry. I love watching your videos while I write in my journal because listening to you happily nerd out over stationery just puts me in the perfect mood!

Hey Job! Have you noticed that the uni jetstream doesn't write well on Plotter paper? I got one specifically to use with my Plotter because the 0.28 is perfect for their tiny tiny grid pages, but it skips like crazy - I thought maybe it was just the individual pen, but it writes fine in my Jibun Techo and on other paper. I wonder why?

Your quarterly videos are my quarterly favorites! This quarter I’ve been using the Kakimori stainless steel nib, passport size TNs, and Lamy pens. (Isn’t it funny how we alight on different pens in different seasons.) It was funny to see the Prada pen. I remember that Prada video. I was thinking about it. I think my favorite part of my Q2 set up/tools in my instax mini evo hybrid camera. I love how controlled the image’s quality becomes when printing from a photo image. I haven’t used it as an actual camera but as a instax printer…. Oops!

For the giveaway, this quarter I’ve been into the Uni-Ball One F 0.5 and a pocket-sized GoodInkPressions Tomoe River Paper dot grid notebook I have in a Sojourner Rampart. While I’m usually really into folio and TN covers, I like just kind of having a very slim pocket to tuck a small notebook into when I’m not bringing a very large bag. I tuck a few washi samples into the hidden card pocket and it makes for a very compact, cute setup!

Lamy pens are always lovely. Blues and oceanic colors are more my thing, so I passed on the strawberry and cream this year. Maybe if cream had been named "Sea foam" it might have gotten me, hah.

I loved watching this. Surprisingly, I didn't go and shop for all the things you shared. Did you already get any paints for your palette? I made the mistake of getting fancier than fancy paints and now I don't have any of the basic colors in tubes. I have basic colors in pans but none that I could put into that cute palette. Glad I found your videos! Great information. Love your free printables. I'm looking for a good, quick-dry pen for tomoe river paper. Do the Uni Jetstream pens smudge? Take time to dry? I'm new to using Hobonichi weeks and so sad when my gel pens smudge :( Maybe I just need to be patient and wait for the ink to dry) But sometimes I forget to wait. Thank you!
