Quarter-To chimes at Thurles Cathedral, Ireland

Sadly unringable according to Dove. A decent tenor at 31 cwt. I wonder why they are unringable

They've never been rung, the tower was found to be too weak to support them.

@@DylanSmith_15 having looked at an image of the tower I can see why, very tall, almost detached and bells way to heavy for the tower. Erhaps much lower in the tower and or a much lighter ring.i think

@@Steven_Rowe id say they could be made to work, with some nifty rehanging in the "old" ringing room below the clock, or even further down !

@adamm2693 it's just sad to see them not rung Yes lower down would make a big difference but also they are heavy.
