This was excellent. Andrew is the man, and the "favorite spot" segment is quickly becoming one of the coolest things to watch for sure

AA is so brutal, yet graceful, funny and fun to watch. Love his skating so much. He’s definitely going to be associated with this spot forever, along with Spanky.

My first time going to L.A. High was in '98 taking the Metro from Long Beach to DTLA. My homies mainly went for the handrail. I crooked it sketch it was about waist high and I'm 6'4 but mellow. I am a ledge skater. I still trip out Guy switch shuv crookon the rail in '95. Way ahead of his time. Yet, my favorite was outside skating the ledges. It went down hill a bit so even with the bricks on a clean day it went smooth with no push up depending on what side. The big banks I still don't get the gnarly stuff that has went down on them. The outside ones were butter and this is obviously way before they changed the front of the school adding the stairs. I still love going there and J-Kwon. Also, I'll never forget that first day ans watching Robbie McKinley killing it with his classic steez. QS another banger! I enjoy the spot checks like the old days watching 411. My first ever skate video was "Welcome to Hell" and 411 VM issue #15. Keep it going strong Quarter Snacks!

Jerry’s tricks all looked so stylish! Met him once at a skatepark in LA and sheepishly asked him if I could get a fist bump 😅

I went up to him at a demo in Austin and said, "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry Hsu, can we get a picture with you?" He was p cool about it

Andrew Allen is sick, I’ve always really liked his skating- even more in the last 10 years or so where he’s mellowed out but still keeps it so interesting.
