Oh, I’m so sad to see that your beloved cactus is gone…that was a loving tribute…there are certainly some things in this world that stirs up our feeling and emotions, not just towards humans, but to animals like our pets, certain places and things…human emotions are very complex and amazing indeed…🙏💙🌵

He was a good cactus.. a pillar in his community.. always standing ready to serve.. and he was a humble cactus.. was a great example of what Quartzite stood for.. for many years he was a featured guest on the very popular RVer TV program.. yes folks, he will be missed.

Look at it! That desert sky is to die for. Looks like a western movie backdrop. It’s hazy here today. And cold. Yup. More rain is coming. For us, starts sometime tomorrow. Will there be a super bloom? I don’t know. At least the ponds are full now. The coastal chaparral is starting up already (pink manzanita buds),. Also the chaparral currant. Look’em up. They’re a kind of desert-like shrub. Beautiful in bloom. Love that stuff. So do the ticks lol. Cheers 👍

I’m new to your channel and I really enjoy it. Right now you are in Chama, NM and you passed by a sign mentioning a coal something. I would enjoy your dialog much more if you would actually read those signs you stop at. I realize you want to save time, but as much as I enjoy the scenery on the roads, I would love to, for example, go into that little gift shop you just walked past. Not long, just a minute or so to see what they sell. I would also love to see the inside of your van. I’ll never get to all the places you go to (I’m 82) so the more detail you show and tell us about, the more it becomes enjoyable. BTW, what did you have for breakfast and did you cook it or buy it?
